As we read the stories of the movers and shakers in the history of our ummah we realize the importance of a source of inspiration in their lives. These sources of inspiration kept them committed to their cause regardless of the challenges and difficulties along the path to change and victory. These sources of inspiration could be a family member, a righteous friend, an ayah, a hadith, or an experience. Throughout their lives these leaders would refer back to these sources of inspiration to keep them grounded and focused on the ultimate goal.
